Allah

Allah is the Cherisher & Sustainer (Rabb) of the universe (anything besides Allah), the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent, unique, omnipotent. Allah as Rabb, He makes grows up, sustains and educates the universe. Allah is also the Lord (Al Malik) of the universe. Allah is the God (Al Ilah). Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. Allah is the One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten and there is none like unto Him.

Quran An Naas chapter 114 Verses 1-6: Say: I seek refuge with the Cherisher & Sustainer (Rabb) of humankind. The Lord (Al Malik) of humankind, the God (Al Ilah) of humankind, from the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws, (The same) who whispers into the hearts of humankind, among Jinns and among humans.

When we observe our circumstances, we see earth, sky, sun, moon, stars, humans, animals, fish, birds and others. We also observe the other existence such as angels, supernatural, spirit, soul and others that are not detected by the human senses. When we observe the living things, all are growing from small, big, old and dead. All grow by itself. We are unable to resist. That is the fact. Who does these? That is Allah, the Cherisher & Sustainer of the universe. In Arabic word, the Cherisher & Sustainer also called as Rabb.

Allah as the Rabb of the universe, He makes universe grows up, sustains and also educates the universe, including its contents such as human.

Why He does these? Simply, because He wants to show His existence, He wants to gives His graces. The more we educated, we become stronger, smarter and purer and as the results are more joyfulness we could achieve. With all of these results we achieve the highest greatness & glory. It is understand if in some source, Allah said, “I am The Hidden Treasure. I love to be known. I create the creatures to know Me. Using Allah they call Me.” The treasure is the one that human always looking for.

He also introduced Himself to Moses as mentioned in Quran Thaha chapter 20 verses 12-16: Verily I am thy Lord! Therefore put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). Verily, I am Allah: There is no god (Ilah; Ilah means the One we put as the most priority) but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. Verily the Hour is coming – My design is to keep hidden – for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish.

Rabb makes growing, making life (Al Hayyu). For example a let’s observe banana tree; at the banana tree there is a power that grow the banana tree from small become big and then become old and die; the one that we can sense is the banana tree but there is something that make it growing. This is unseen. The banana tree is the witness of the existence of the one who make grow the banana tree, so that we can say the banana tree is life.

Living things in this universe is growing from small to big, become old then die, including human. Also the sky which originally from fog, expanding as explained by Quran Al Fushshilat chapter 41 verse 11: Moreover He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) fog: He said to it and to the earth, “Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We do come (together), in willing obedience.”

The expansion of sky and earth is also explained in Quran Al Anbiyaa chapter 21 verse 30: Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
Who makes something grow? He is Rabb the Cherisher and Sustainer of the universe. Rabb who grows the universe, such as human, animals, plants, the angels, the jinns, the sky, earth including America, Poles, Asia, Eropa, Afrika, Australia, the after death, heaven, hell, also other realm.

The natural law on earth is also depends on The Unseen.

Rabb existence is perfect, stable, eternal, having no change since beginning to end. Rabb does not unite with the creatures. Rabb is single, unique, exist, eternal, holy and not possible to unite with creatures.

Quran Al Imron chapter 3 verse 2: Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.

Quran As Shuura chapter 42 verse 11: The Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made of you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle; by this means does He multiply you: There is nothing whatever likes unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees.

Quran Ar Rahman chapter 55 verses 27: But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honor.

So it’s logical when we want to be pure before Him, we shall remembrance Allah a lot. Remembrance means remember Allah until His Existence become real.

Quran Al Hadid chapter 57 verse 3: He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent; and He has full knowledge of all things.

Quran is Allah’s decree, now becoming the education tool. Rabb teaches human in Quran An Nisaa chapter 4 verse 126: But to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And He it is that encompasseth all things.

Emphasized in Quran Fushshilat chapter 41 verse 54: Ah indeed! Are they doubt concerning the meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things! Also emphasized in Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verses 19: Wallahu muhithum bil kafirin, means But Allah is ever round the rejecters of faith.

The above sentence is to assert about Allah existence, differ from Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verse 29: Wa Huwa bikulli syai-in ‘alimun, means: and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.
Quran Al An’am chapter 6 verse 80: Wasi’a Rabbi kulla syai-in ‘ilman, means: My Lord comprehendeth in His knowledge all things.

Thus looking for Allah no need to go up the the heavens, just on earth is enough, Allah, Rabb, teaches through Quran. Everything contains in Quran, so Rabb Who teaches, in Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verse 29 called the teachings of Allah, in Quran Al An’am chapter 6 verse 80 called the knowledge of Allah, but in Quran An Nisa chapter 4 verse 126 dan Quran Fushshilat chapter 41 verse 54 mentioned that Allah, He encompass of all things.

Should we observe Quran Al A’raaf chapter 7 verse 54: Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority). Firmly established on the throne (‘Arsy) is one of Allah nature that we should have faith on in accordance to His Greatness Allah and His Glory, but in here we should noticed in Quran Ali Imron chapter 3 verse 2 that the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. To understand the meaning of “firmly established on the throne” we should learn from Quran, mainly the parts which explain about God, such as Quran An Nisaa chapter 4 verses 126: But to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And He it is that encompasseth all things and Quran Fushshilat chapter 41 verse 54. Then we could understand Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verse 255 mentioned that the throne of Allah encompass the heavens and the earth. Some of the translators (Mufassiriin) explain the throne of Allah as the knowledge of Allah and some are the power of Allah. Thus the meaning of firmly established the throne in Quran Al Araaf 7 ayat 54, is one of the attribute of Allah that we must belief.

Throne, power, knowledge of Allah in the highest knowledge (ma’rifat) is called Ahadiyat realm. The condition of the Existence is Alone, no others, holy, self-subsisting.

When we enter into Bashirah realm, that is human mind, we will find that our mind is separated from our body, our heart above all it does not mix with the existence of Allah. Then we start to understand the beginning of the universe.

Hadith Quds: Allah decreed: I am a Hidden Treasure, I love to be understood, so I creates My creatures. With Allah they understand Me.

If we observed, before anything were created, the condition is still empty and only in the knowledge of Rabb. So there is no mix or unite only a Hidden Treasury, which is the absolute existence, eternal and in Quran Ar Rahman 55 verses 27: But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honor. The Existence expresses Himself as "I", as also mentioned in Quran Thaaha 20 verses 14: Indeed! I am Allah.

Then the One Who love to be known would like to be known Who I am by creating my creatures. The first one is the knowledge of Allah as mentioned in Quran Al Anbiyaa’ chapter 21 verse 30: Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? In Quran FushshiIat chapter 41 verses 11 mentioned that the heaven is still in fog form. According to the Glossary of Meteorology from the American Meteorological Society, fog is a collection of water droplets suspended in the atmosphere in the vicinity of the earth's surface that affects visibility.

Thus before fog is formed from the smallest matter, there is nothing, none can similar, not possible to join together, still in holy condition, no dirt since beginning to end. It is called the Existence, no one knows Him except Himself.

Thus He (Huwa) is the First and the End, Eternal.

The name of the First is only Him knew, that is Allah. Allah encompasses all things, so it is clear that anything depends to Allah. Thus it is compulsory to say in the name of Allah (basmalah) before conduct anything. Universe is the witness of the existence of Allah.

Living creatures showing that Allah is living and make living to the living creatures. He grows something; He makes sun, moon moving. So Allah is al Mighty. In physics force is an interaction that makes matter moving or changes its form. Force is the deed of Allah.

All creations comes from the Eternal, Alone, the One and Only. Then the beginning is the fog which become the sky and the earth and then human. Thus human said that everything coming from the One and Only.

From the One and Only (Ahadiyah), where there is nothing except He. He said, “I am the Hidden treasure, I love to be understood, I creates My creatures, by using Allah they have known Me.

The initial which have will is Allah with His “I”. This “I” similar to the statement given to Moses in Quran Thaaha chapter 21 verses 14: Verily, I am Allah. There is no god but I. So serve thou Me (only) and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise.

In other hadith narrated by Ibnu Najjar, Abu Nu’aim, Ibnu Asakir, Allah said, “Lailaaha illahu is My word, it is Me, whoever mention it, enter into My fortress. Whoever enters My fortress they will be protected from My tortures.

I am the Existence that exists forever, separated from others and know all things. Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verses 29: It is He who hath created for you all things that are on earth. Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

Quran Al An’am 6 Verses 103: No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things.

The “I” of Allah has willingness as mentioned in Quran An Nahl chapter 16 verses 40: For to anything which We have willed, We but say the word, “Be” and it is.

In the above explanation, there is a process of growing, since Rabb means to make growing.
Quran Al Araaf chapter 7 verses 54: Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority). He draweth the night as a veil o’er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession. He created the sun, the moon the stars, (all) governed by laws under His Command. It is not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

Thus the beginning of the existence is from the One and Only, from the Eternal, Holy, not mix, standalone since start until finish. No one knows Him except Himself. He has Name, Deeds, attributes and Substance, known as Allah.

I am Allah who wanted early. He wants His creatures to witness over His presence. Human covers the One who encompass all things. We should have faith on it. Because we cover the God existence, human tends to claim anything done by them, such as I am the smartest, I am the most powerful. In fact Allah is the smartest, the most powerful.

So should we could remove our ego and define our sincere then we understand the meaning indeed from Allah and will be return to Allah (Inna Lillahi wa inna ila’hi rojiun). So we will safe in this world and hereafter.

Quran Thaaha chapter 20 verses 111: (All) faces shall be humbled before (Him) – the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal; hopeless indeed will be the human that carries iniquity (on his back).

Quran At Taubah chapter 9 verses 116:  Unto Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He giveth life and He taketh it. Except for Him ye have no protector or helper.

Quran An Najm chapter 53 verses 43-44:  That it is He Who granteth laughter and tears; that it is He Who granteth death and life.

Quran Al Furqan chapter 25 verses 58: And put thy trust in Him Who lives and dies not; and celebrate his praise; and enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants.

Thus the One who have will is Allah.

Quran Hud chapter 11 verses 107: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth; for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He Planneth.

Thus by understanding of the Quran verses, it is clear that Rabb is the Creator Who makes all things growing. Life is consisting of a reaction, beginning with emptiness; nothing coming from the One Who makes living and death. Death is also a part of the living reaction. So the Existence, Eternal is the Living (al Hayyu) an attribute of Allah. Even the power to create as shown in Quran Al Hasyr chapter 59 verses 24: He is Allah the Creator (Al Khaliq), the Evolver (Al Bari), the Bestower of forms (Al Mushawwir). To Him belong the Most Beautiful names; whatever it is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory; and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verses 117: To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He salth to it: “Be”, and it is.

Quran Al Ikhlash chapter 113 verses 1-4: Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of humankind, the King (or Ruler) of humankind, the God (or Judge) of humankind. From mischief of the whisperer (of evil) who withdraws (after his whisper). (The same) who whispers into the hearts of humankind, among Jinns and among human.

Quran Al Jin chapter 72 verses 3:  And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord. He has taken neither a wife nor a son.

Quran Al Baqarah chapter 2 verse 162: They will abide therein. Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot).
